How Popper works
1. Sign in with X
Needed once, on this site. It creates your Popper wallet; no deposit is required to sign in or to launch.
- Open popper.one and press "Sign in with X" in the top-right corner.
- X asks you to authorize Popper. Confirm.
- You are back on popper.one; your X handle and SOL balance appear in the header. Your wallet exists from this moment.
2. Launch a coin on the site
Free. Popper pays the creation fee; your wallet is the on-chain creator, so Pump's creator fees on every trade accrue to you.
- Press "Launch" in the header.
- Pick a logo (PNG, JPEG, GIF or WebP, under 2 MB), enter a name and a ticker. Description and social links are optional.
- "Dev buy" is optional and is paid from your own balance. Leave it empty if you have not deposited; the launch goes through anyway and the dev buy is simply skipped.
- Press "Launch". A few seconds later you land on the coin page with its address and the Buy/Sell panel.
3. Launch a coin inside X
The link popper.one/launch is itself a card: posted on X, it shows the launch form inside the post.
- Open the post and tap the card. It shows the launch form with a "Sign in to launch" button.
- Tap it. The card now shows a 6-digit code and a link "popper.one/pair ↗".
- Tap the link. It opens popper.one in a new tab with the code already filled in. If you are not signed in yet, press "Sign in with X" first; you come back to the same page.
- Press "Connect". The page confirms the card is connected.
- Return to the X tab. Within a few seconds the card switches back to the form, now with your balance in the corner.
- Fill in logo, name and ticker, press "Launch". The card shows the new coin with a "Post it on X" button.
Connecting is done once per phone or browser. Every Popper card you meet on that device afterwards, for launching, buying or selling, works without the code step.
4. Where the code is entered
Normally the link in the card carries the code and you only press Connect. If you need to type it:
- Go to popper.one → "Wallet" in the header (sign in first).
- Find the box "Connect a card" and type the 6 digits shown on the card into the field "000 000".
- Press "Connect". The card picks the connection up by itself within a few seconds.
A code is valid for 5 minutes. If it expires the card shows a new one automatically. Connected devices are listed on the Wallet page and can be disconnected there.
5. Deposit SOL
Only needed to buy coins or to make a dev buy.
- Open "Wallet". Under "Deposit · Solana mainnet" is your personal address.
- Send SOL to it from any wallet or exchange (Solana network).
- The balance in the header updates once the transfer lands, usually within a minute.
6. Buy and sell inside a post
A coin link popper.one/t/… posted on X shows that coin's trading card: price, market cap, curve progress and the buttons Buy 0.1 / 0.25 / 0.5 SOL and Sell 25 / 50 / 100 %.
- Tap a Buy or Sell button.
- First time on this device: the card shows the code and link; connect as described above. Already connected: the trade goes out immediately.
- The button reads "Buying…" / "Selling…" and then the card shows "buy confirmed" with a link to the transaction, or the reason it failed (for example not enough SOL — deposit and tap again).
Cards can buy up to 1 SOL per day per account and 5 SOL per trade. No code or confirmation is asked after the first connection.
7. Withdraw
Withdrawals are only possible on this site, never from a card. A leaked code can at most trade with your balance; it cannot move SOL out.
- Open "Wallet" → "Withdraw SOL".
- Enter the destination address and the amount, press Withdraw.
- The transaction link appears once it is confirmed.
8. After graduation
When the bonding curve completes, the coin moves to PumpSwap. The coin page, the card and the prices follow automatically; Buy and Sell keep working the same way.
9. Fees and limits
- Launching is free.
- Popper takes 1 % of each trade, on the curve and on PumpSwap, in addition to Pump's own fees.
- Launches are rate-limited per account to keep free creation from being abused.
- Popper is custodial: it holds your wallet key. Keep only what you trade here.
